FITK Hosts the 7th Particle Physics School in Southeast Asia

The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta proudly hosted the7th Particle Physics School in Southeast AsiafromJanuary 20 to 24, 2025. This prestigious event,fully funded by KEK and the Faculty of Tarbiyah, brought together distinguished lecturers fromJapan's High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and participants fromSoutheast Asia.

Held at theGedung Kuliah Terpadu UIN Sunan Kalijaga, the event featured a series of lectures and discussions on cutting-edge topics in particle physics, delivered by renowned experts from KEK:

  • Particle Physics Experimentby Dr.Shohei Nishida
  • Detectorsby Dr.Koji Hara
  • Acceleratorsby Dr.Hiroshi Kaji

Participants fromIndonesia,Malaysia,Philippines,Thailand, andVietnamjoined the school to enhance their understanding of particle physics and foster international collaboration in the field.
